the hassle + the tassel.
As a junior in college, I’ve had my fair share of “why am I here?” + “I can’t wait to start my next chapter” moments. School is really hard, + deciding right now what you want to do with your life is even harder. It really is a hassle to get the tassel, but graduation makes it worth it. College graduation is a huge deal, and I was beyond stoked when Megan reached out to ask me to capture her graduation photos. Right around the time that I got my very own camera (2 years ago), Megan + a friend contacted me asking to take their headshots for LinkedIn. I was geeking, + didn’t charge anything at the time - I just wanted to get my hands on my camera + have something new to edit. Looking back now, I can’t help but giggle a lil. The girls were adorable in their photos, but I really had no idea what I was doing. I’ve kinda got the hang of it now, and was happy to deliver a much improved gallery to Megan this time around. That was my beginning, + she let me capture her new beginning. The photos turned out awesome, + Megan is the cutest, sweetest human. It really blows my mind that people come to me to capture such big moments in their life, and I couldn’t love doing it more. The biggest congratulations to Megan, + cheers to starting this new, very special chapter in your life.
